Interactive digital platform, mCommunity, consists of mobile application and multilevel administrative panel to empower citizens and local government to create their best city.
The mobile application mCommunity promotes the concept of mobile participation (m-participation) as a tool for increased civic participation in actions and decision-making process at local level. mCommunity is available for smart phones using Android and IOS operational systems and provides opportunity for every citizen to
1) report a problem,
2) present a solution and
3) start an initiative in their community in accordance with the “online whenever wherever” principle.
The interactive digital platform, mCommunity, is a pilot in the Municipality of Karposh (one of the municipalities in Skopje) with over 60.000 inhabitants. mCommunity contributes for information of the citizens, direct contact with the municipal departments and increased transparency.
The interactive digital platform is adaptive for any city and in any language/s as needed. The package includes mobile application for IOS and Andorid, branded city multilevel administrative panel, designed promotional materials and three (3) capacity building trainings (for IT sector, for city departments representatives and for the members of the City Council).
