Description
The project “Discovering the Roman City of Stobi: A Virtual Reality Experience” aims at promoting new virtual reality services that will lead to increasing of the attractiveness and economic benefits of the Archaeological site of Stobi. With the project, we will create new virtual reality solutions for education and information for the Gladiator battle scene in the ancient theater in Stobi.
Virtual Reality (VR) is becoming an increasingly important tool for the research, the communication and the popularization of cultural heritage. The basic idea behind using VR technology is to offer to the public an opportunity to immersive explore a realistic reconstruction of the cultural heritage sites. VR as a relatively new technology provides unique storytelling potential since it builds the narrative around the point of view of the spectator. It provides sense of merging with the story and becoming a part of the storytelling. The project will be implemented in cooperation with the National Institute Stobi.
The target groups (or direct beneficiaries) are as following:
- Tourists (domestic and foreign) that visit the North Macedonia and
- Travelers (individuals and groups) that transit through North Macedonia.

ТАРТАР0020-065А-2019 in cooperation with NI Stobi and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC). The project duration is 7 months and is financially supported by the European Commission. We announce this call for a supplier/expert that will produce the promotional videos.

We announce this call for contracting a supplier/expert for the Graphic design of the Gladiator battle scene.

ТАРТАР0020-065А-2019 in cooperation with NI Stobi and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC). The project duration is 7 months and is financially supported by the European Commission. We announce this call for contracting 3D modeling of the theater, which will serve as a basis for the development of the VR app for Gladiator battle in the theater of Stobi.

Part of the project activities is development of Script for production of VR app for Gladiator battle in the theater of Stobi for which we announce this call for engagement of Expert (Scriptwriter).

Part of the project activities is collecting data and information about the Theatre, the Gladiators, Roman traditions and for which we announce this call for engagement of two Experts (Archeologists) and one Consultant (Architect).
